These reconnaissance and attack platforms, which have evolved since their introduction as conceptual models at ADEX 2022, are now ready to fulfill long-term surveillance missions and attack roles. In collaboration with the Ministry of National Defense Production of Azerbaijan and drone solution providers, DEFTECH has successfully developed drone designs, the DT-101 and the DT-001, as well as their associated munitions, displaying significant advances in the field of military aeronautics.

These systems have evolved from conceptual models presented at ADEX 2022 and are now optimized for missions of long-term monitoring and attack roles. Among them, drones DT-101 And DT-001 stand out for their aerodynamic efficiency and configurations designed to provide increased longitudinal stability and better lift efficiency.
THE DT-101, a UAV vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), is particularly suitable for surveillance missions, while the DT-001, launched from a runway, is designed to carry heavier loads and can carry lurking ammunition F-1500. These drones can also be equipped with a variety of sensors and electronic warfare equipment.

At the ADEX 2024 exhibition in Baku, the company DEFTECH LLC, specializing in defense technologies, has revealed a new range of defense platforms acknowledgement and attack. These drones are distinguished by a design unique tandem wing, a configuration that provides improved aerodynamic performance. Initially presented as conceptual models at ADEX 2022, the platforms have evolved through flight testing and now meet the requirements of long-term surveillance and attack missions.
Technical characteristics of the DT-101 and DT-001 drones
The DT-101 drone is presented as a UAV with takeoff and vertical landing (VTOL) designed for extended surveillance missions. With a maximum launch weight of between 55 and 75 kg, it has a wingspan of 3.6 meters. Its hybrid propulsion system combines a 180 CC internal combustion engine with four VTOL electric motors, allowing it to reach cruising altitudes ranging between 3,000 and 5,000 meters and stay airborne for up to 10 hours. This model is essential for missions where endurance plays a crucial role in operational success.
Innovations and strategic implications
The heavier DT-001 requires a runway for launch and has a weight capacity of 75 to 120 kg. Powered by a 360 CC internal combustion engine, it can carry up to two F-1500 flying munitions under its fuselage. These drones can carry various equipment, including EO/IR cameras and multispectral sensors. The technological advancement of systems developed by DEFTECH contributes to strengthening the Azerbaijani defense industry, crucial in an unstable regional context.
