During the ADEX 2024, the company Azerbaijani DEFTECH presented its new armed drone systems, the DT-001 and DT-101. These drones are equipped with advanced technologies and revolutionary munitions such as the F-1500 and F-5000. They are designed to meet various reconnaissance and attack needs. Their operational capabilities are remarkable, which marks a turning point in the field of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).
Features of DT-001 and DT-101 drones
The DT-001 drone has a takeoff weight of between 75 and 120 kg, with a maximum payload of 40 kg. Equipped with a 360 cc internal combustion engine, it reaches a cruising speed of 120 to 130 km/h. Its endurance capacity is 5 to 10 hours. Furthermore, the DT-101, which operates in VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) mode, has characteristics similar to those of the DT-001. However, it is powered by a 180 cc engine and can carry a lower payload of 55 to 75 kg depending on the mission.
F-1500 and F-5000 ammunition
The F-1500 munitions are 1 meter long and have a wingspan of 1.1 meters. Respectively, they can be launched from a drone or a ground system. The air-launched version achieves a range of 40 km. On the other hand, the F-5000 is a larger ammunition with a mass of 16 kg, capable of carrying different types of explosive charges. Depending on the needs of the mission, F-1500 And F-5000 provide unprecedented flexibility of use in the theater of operations.
